The oldest race on Haydock's fixtures is the Old Newton Cup and this race over the sprint course at Haydock Park has been won by some great racehorses in the past.

Quite uniquely, this meeting features an old fashioned singalong with some racegoers dressed up as Victorians singing in front of the brass band!
