York Races - Dante Meeting - Weds 16th - Fri 18th May 2012

The first meeting on York's 2012 calendar is the three-day Dante meeting, seen as one of the first main meetings of the flat season and to see the talent on show for the campaign ahead.

York Races has this three day meeting right in the middle of May and we are running racetrips to York Races on all three of these great days of racing.

York Races - May Spring Meeting - Saturday 26th May 2012

York Races comes into it's own during a Saturday meeting with crowds at their peak reaching above 40,000. This spring meeting is always popular and there will be a great atmosphere around the racecourse.

There are lots of bars and restaurants at the racecourse, with a pletheroa of snack bars and places to eat dotted in great number at the back of York's impressive stand.

The May Spring Meeting at York Races features the Stowe Family Grand Cup, a race which sees some of the best of those horses that are up and coming for the season ahead.

York Races - Charity Day - Saturday 16th June 2012

Charity Day at York Races is all about action both on an off the track. As well as the usual plentiful facilities at York Races, there are lots of activities going on during this race meeting, to provide even more fun for you and your group.

The big race of the day is the William Hill Trophy; a big-field sprint run on the Knavesmire providing an exciting finish to this feature event.

York Races - John Smith's Cup - Saturday 14th July 2012

John Smith's Cup Day is one of York's busiest and exciting meeting of the year. The feature being the John Smith's Cup, which always provides a thrilling finish!

York Races is a great place to celebrate any occasion, whether it is a hen/stag party or if you are celebrating a birthday, you are sure to have a great time at this meeting.

York Races - Racing followed by music from McFly - Saturday 28th July 2012

This unique meeting is always popular with big groups and those that want to make the most of the weekend at the races.

Saturday starts with an afternoon of great racing on York's famous track, whilst after racing, McFly play live on stage! Definitely not an experience to be missed. Both are included in the cost of the racetrip and is excellent value for money.

York Races - Ebor Handicap Day - Saturday 25th August 2012

The final day of the famous Ebor meeting will attract thousands of racegoers that descend on the Knavesmire for this annual event.

Being one of the most popular meetings, the bars soon fill up, but York has a vast array of bars and drinks stands to cope with the many enjoying this August race meeting.

York Races - Sprint Trophy Meeting - Saturday 13th October 2012

York's final meeting of 2012 ends with the traditional Coral Sprint Trophy race; a big-field handicap race run over York's sprint course. This meeting is, as always for a York Saturday meeting, popular and early booking is advised, especially if enquiring about accommodation.

Bars and places to eat are vast in number with the majority at the back of York's Knavesmire and Ebor Stands. Access to the parade ring is excellent and racetrips here offer excellent value for money.
