The Enclosures
York Racecourse has three enclosures to choose from when picking your race trip. As standard we include the Grandstand Enclosure. Please let us know if you wish to go into a different enclosure.
County Stand Enclosure
The premium enclosure at York Races is the County Stand which gives access to the Ebor Stand as well as all the other facilities at York Races such as the parade ring, paddock and betting ring.
For a supplement of just £15pp, you can upgrade from the standard Grandstand entry to the County Stand. There is a fixed amount of tickets available for the County Stand, so book early if you wish to attend in this enclosure.
Entry to the County Stand at York Races makes the most of your race day and away from the ultra-busy main stands. There are a pletheroa of bars, eating places and betting facilities within this enclosure, making it easy and simple for you to enjoy your day out at York Races.
If you want to make the most of your day at York Races, the County Stand is a must. The views of the racing are the best at York whilst the atmosphere is electric!!

Grandstand Enclosure
The main enclosure at York Races is the Grandstand Enclosure and being in this area, means you are right at the heart of the racecourse. You will experience amazing atmospheres and fantastic views of the racing from the main stand in the Grandstand.
With prices starting from just £35 per person, the main enclosure at York is affordable and ideal for those in large groups.
The vast main stand has plenty of room for racegoers with a large amount of bars and eateries available throughout the day. Our recommendation is the Knavesmire Restaurant that run a self-service style restaurant with meals for about £6. A great place to have a sit down and a relax.
We include the Grandstand Enclosure as standard in our trips to York Races as we feel it includes everything you need, for a fantastic day at the races.

Course Enclosure
The Course Enclosure is situated in the centre of the racecourse and is extremely popular with racegoers that prefer a more relaxed approach to a Saturday afternoon trip to York Races.
If you want to take a picnic, deckchairs, parasol or just want to enjoy a different viewpoint of York Races, then the Course Enclosure is ideal for you.
This enclosure contains places to grab a bite to eat or drink, betting facilities and the usual great atmosphere that comes along with a York Races day out!
Please let us know if you wish to go into the Course Enclosure at York Races as we include the Grandstand Enclosure as standard.
